Welcome to the Wudinna & LeHunte Districts AH&F Society page!
This year marks a truly special milestone – our 100th annual Show! We’re absolutely thrilled to celebrate a century of bringing our community together and can’t wait to share this momentous occasion with locals and visitors alike. The Show features a wide variety of activities throughout the year, culminating in our major event each September. It’s a brilliant opportunity to catch up with mates and enjoy a great range of entertainment all day long. You’ll find displays of local art, photography, cooking, history, and heaps more. The town oval transforms into an arena for horse events and dog trials, while other highlights include the popular Shearing Competition, bustling food and market stalls, live entertainment, and the well-supported poultry sections.
We’re also proud to operate the town’s RV Park, which continues to grow thanks to our dedicated Committee. Our facilities offer powered sites for $20 and unpowered spots for $10 per night, with amenities including toilets and showers ($2 for 4 minutes). It’s a great spot for travellers and locals to enjoy.
The Annual Ram Sales take place in our Shearing Shed, and we’re fortunate to host the EP Stud Merino Breeders Association Expo every year, showcasing the best breeders from across the Eyre Peninsula. Our grounds and facilities are available for hire for public and private events – we welcome everyone to make use of them.
A massive thank you goes out to our entire community and the tireless volunteers working behind the scenes. Your hard work and commitment make this event possible, and we couldn’t do it without you. Here’s to the centenary Show and the many more to come!
